79-Year Old Hits Two Homeruns........

"It was a big day...I'm just happy to win this first game, because this is a tough place to win ballgames."

The 79-year is Frank Thomas! Wow he's ancient. He became the oldest player to have a multihomer game in postseason history! I didn't even realize he still played baseball. That's amazing. You can be 100 and maintain your postion on a MLB roster. Those who follow baseball proabably know that it's playoff time, and probably know that the Oakland A's defeated the Minnesota Twins on yesterday. Therefore, Grandaddy Frank was able to get the win and add a couple of home runs to his stat sheet. I happen not to like baseball at any level (that includes pee-wee, middle school, high school, college, professional...you get the point), BUT Frank Thomas and I have something in common. As college students, we both graced the very same campus. So for that reason, I'm in his corner!! And for that reason (and that reason alone), I hope that the Oakland A's win it all.......oh yeah, he's really 38.
