Corey Lidle Killed in Plane Crash...


Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle and his flight instructor were killed Wednesday when the 34-year-old ballplayer's plane crashed into a high-rise apartment building in New York, city and baseball team officials said. Two bodies and Lidle's passport were found in the street, responders told CNN. "It looks like the plane just flew into someone's living room," witness Sarah Steiner told CNN....Witness Henry Neimark, who is also a pilot, said he saw a plane flying at relatively low altitude. This is sad beyond explanation. There's really nothing to say in situations like these. I remember watching the TV in shock earlier today feeling bad for "whoever" was in that plane. It's just ironic that it was him. My prayers are with his family and the families of the others who met this tragic demise.

Of all the people I was expecting to hear about crashing in a building, the last was a member of the NY Yankees. Crazy.
