QUOTE OF THE DAY...

"Your honor, I don't believe I'm a man who belongs in jail"

Those are the words of Chicago Bear Tank Johnson before he was sentenced to 120 days (4 months) in jail on Thursday for violating probation in a 2005 gun case. He also has to pay a $2500 fine. The judge who ruled in this case obviously doesn't givva damn about his celebrity (not saying that's a bad thing). Big Tank pleaded w/him before the trial to avoid jail time and all the judge could say was, "Just because he's a professional football player and plays for the Chicago Bears, doesn't put him above the law." SO TRUE. There's a lesson to be learned from this....stay outta trouble!!

LMAO! Every person in jail doesn't think they belong there.

Salsa, how can you be so cold? You can look at sweet Uncle Tank and think that man deserves to be locked up? Doesn't that face say, "I'm so, so sowwee...I ain't mean to do no harm"? So what he had a bunch of guns? Nigga might've been getting ready to film a "Smack" DVD. Gotta keep up with the rappers. And you never know when Pacman might run up in your crib buckin'. Picture Tank without the artilery, and Pac catching him off guard. Fuck the judge and fuck da po-lice. Tank ain't do nuffin', he play football!

Once again, the system tries to keep a black man down. Get a little money in your pocket and the cops can smell it. Nobody said shit when Charles Bronson was packing.

I hope some other stupid celebs learn from this. No one needs to be above the law! (George Bush, Karl Rove, and Dick Cheney included!)
