Coaching is a dirty world, and Larry Coker has found out for himself. After the traditionally dominant, Miami Hurricanes finished with a 6-6 record, Coker (59-15 Miami record) was given the axe. Miami, who's been a football powerhouse for years, started falling off a couple of seasons ago, and struggled this year. (ESPN)
I can't help but think about the glory days with Ken Dorsey and all the awesome players surrounding him. This is sad.
ReplyDeleteCoaching is a dirty game but I can't help but think that these people make there decisions based on media talk. When ever you hear about a QB may lose his job to the rookie, eventually it happens. All you would hear is Larry Coker is done so they did it. Me personally I feel like Miami has fallen off a bit but 59-15 and a national championship doesn't sound bad to me as a coach.
